A group of 4 of us flew into Santiago and wanted to see the best the region had to offer in a short 4 days. We contacted Jana, Victor and Pablo and asked them to create a tailored made adventure and the itinerary they put together went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. If we make it back to Chile, meeting up with these 3 extraordinary guides will be at the top of our list!

Choose Two Modules to Complete Your 4-Day Trip
Welcome to Santiago! Upon arrival, our friendly guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Once your luggage is stored, enjoy a delicious breakfast before a relaxed stroll around this cosmopolitan city. Depending on your preferences, we’ll visit Santiago’s beautiful sites by foot or car, helping you with initial travel tasks such as money exchange and providing important information for your further travels in Chile. In the evening, prepare for a culinary adventure at a fantastic wine restaurant. Exquisite dishes and a virtual journey through the vineyards around Santiago are the ideal introduction to the culinary world of Chile.
After a 2-hour drive to the Cordillera de los Andes, we’ll start the day with a freshly prepared breakfast at the “Cafeteria del Cajón”. With our energy replenished, we’ll head off on individually coordinated hikes through this fantastic mountainous landscape. You won’t want to forget your camera on this trip – the stunning views awaiting you include the impressive volcano San José and thermal baths at the foot of the mountain (you can even take a soothing bath if you wish!). Retire in the evening to a mountain lodge with wonderful views over the Cordillera, and take advantage of the in-house spa services for a truly luxurious retreat.
After a good breakfast, we’ll make our way to Valparaíso by car. The historical coastal town, mentioned in Chilean proverbs, is a kaleidoscope of vivid colors and bustles with activity. Accompanied by a local guide, explore secret corners of this quirky city. Boasting colorful, tightly packed houses, eclectic street art, and an outdoor graffiti museum reflecting the social and political history of the city, there is no better place to get a feel for bohemian Chile. This evening we’ll stay the night at the wonderful Fauna Hotel, which offers a fabulous view of the city.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast first thing in the morning before we head to the Cordillera, an extensive chain of mountains in the Andes. This trip offers a fantastic opportunity to get to know the real cowboys of Chile, the “Arrieros de Santiago”. These dab-hands will have already saddled the horses and will help us mount. With a view towards the Andes, we’ll start our 3-hour ride and have a barbecue over an open fire for lunch. As we head back, soak up the breathtaking views of Santiago and the surrounding peaks of the Andes. Riding with the cowboys is an authentic insight into Chile not experienced by many tourists!
Kick off the morning with a trip to San Felipe to explore the oldest vineyard in Chile! We’ll tour selected vineyards in the region for a comprehensive insight into the history and tradition of Chilean wine-making culture and, of course, meet the passionate people behind it! Taking advantage of the mediterranean-like ambience, sit down with your group for a delicious lunch, al fresco. In the afternoon we’ll visit wine cellars for tastings of some of the best wines in Chile. Enjoy accommodation in a spectacular location tonight in a local guesthouse in the Aconcagua Valley.
Unfortunately, today is our last day! We’ll pick you up from your hotel to bring you to the airport at your desired time. We hope you’ll leave Chile with fond memories of your trip, the people, and incredible landscapes!

My wife and I have traveled a lot in the last years and visited all the continents. In the process we have tried many different day trips, and I have to say Jana and Victor gave us the absolutely best experience. We celebrated our five-year anniversary, and Jana and Victor gave us an extra sparking wine tasting as a present on the way back.

We didn’t feel like typical tourists…we felt like Flecha pulled back the curtain a bit and showed us what the place was really like. Needless to say, we will be back and I will email Flecha to organize all our excursions. I cannot imagine a better partner in creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences!
